Job Summary

The Video Editor/Videographer will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for various platforms. This role will significantly impact our marketing and communications efforts by producing engaging visual stories that showcase our projects, culture, and values.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a strong understanding of video editing software, videography techniques, and storytelling. A degree in film studies, media production, or a related field is highly desirable, along with a portfolio demonstrating previous work.

Preferred Qualifications (optional)

Experience with motion graphics, animation, and sound design is a plus. Familiarity with social media platforms and video optimization for different channels is also advantageous.

Work Location & Schedule

This is a part-time hybrid position based in Surulere, Lagos. The schedule offers flexibility, with a mix of on-site and remote work. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience in shooting high-quality video footage using professional cameras and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of video composition, lighting, and sound recording.
  • Ability to create engaging and visually appealing video content for various platforms.
  • Excellent storytelling and narrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in video editing and videography.
  • A portfolio of previous video work demonstrating skills and creativity.
